In POE2 Currency, the Huntress class introduces a dynamic and elemental playstyle through the Amazon Ascension path. At the heart of this approach lies the Infuse Weapon passive skill, a powerful mechanic that transforms your ranged attacks by imbuing them with explosive elemental effects. This article explores how to obtain and use Infuse Weapon, the underlying mechanics behind it, and how to optimize its devastating potential.
Infuse Weapon is a passive skill exclusive to the Huntress's Amazon Ascension. To unlock this skill, players must complete one of two Ascension trials:the Trial of Sekhmas or the Trial of Chaos. After choosing the Amazon Ascension path, players can spend just 2 Ascension Points to acquire the Elemental Infusion node, which grants the Infuse Weapon skill.
Because the node requires only a small investment of Ascension Points, even completing the lowest difficulty of these trials is enough to gain access to this skill, making it an early and accessible power boost for the Amazon.
Unlike many skills in Path of Exile 2 Currency Orbs, Infuse Weapon is passively activated. There is no need to manually trigger it through skill buttons or right-clicking. Once the activation conditions are met, the skill automatically imbues your weapon with elemental enchantments in the background, empowering your ranged attacks.
Importantly, Infuse Weapon has no skill gem, so it cannot be used by other classes. This exclusivity emphasizes the skill's thematic connection to the Huntress's unique elemental combat style.
To grasp how Infuse Weapon operates, it's essential to understand its parent node:Elemental Infusion. This node enables the skill and links it to the elemental charge system, dictating how weapon infusions are generated.
