If you have been spending any decent amount of time looting and surviving the harsh landscapes of ARC Raiders, you already know that player interactions can go sideways in a matter of seconds. Whether you are trying to avoid a costly gunfight, declare a temporary truce, or pull off a calculated, dirty ambush, having the right social tool changes everything. That is where the White Flag comes in.
The White Flag is a highly sought-after usable item that allows you to literally wave a sign of peace (or deception) to other raiders in the middle of a match. However, you cannot just buy it or start the game with it. You have to hunt down its blueprint out in the wild, extract safely, and craft it back at your base. Here is a practical breakdown of exactly how to find the blueprint, what materials you need, and how to use it to your advantage.
Step 1: Finding the White Flag Blueprint
First, let's get the bad news out of the way: there is no 100% guaranteed, fixed spawn point for the White Flag blueprint. It relies heavily on Random Number Generation (RNG), meaning you will need a bit of luck on your side. The good news is that its drop pool is exclusive to a specific environment, so you can drastically narrow down your search area.
To find the blueprint, you need to deploy specifically to the Riven Tides coastal map. Once you are on the ground, your main focus should be thoroughly checking industrial-style loot containers. Keep your eyes peeled for three specific types of containers:
  • Blue lockers scattered inside offices and industrial structures.
  • Green cargo container drawers found around logistics areas.
  • Brown containers that are breakable or require you to breach them.

While the blueprint can technically drop from these containers anywhere on Riven Tides, you want to maximize your efficiency by hitting high-probability locations. These spots feature the highest concentration of the exact storage units you need to search:
  • The Stacking Yard: This is arguably the absolute best zone to farm. It is packed to the brim with industrial storage containers, giving you the highest number of loot rolls in a relatively tight area.
  • Port Authority Building: Make your way inside this structure and focus your attention on searching the white containers located within the premises.
  • Customs House: Head just south of the main Customs House building. There is a cluster of lockers there that frequently holds industrial drops.

Step 2: Crafting the Item
Finding the blueprint is only half the battle. Once you spot it, your absolute priority is making a literal run for it and extracting from the map alive. If you die before extracting, the blueprint is gone, and you are back to square one.
Once you successfully extract with the White Flag blueprint safely in your inventory, the hard part is over. Crafting the item back at your base is surprisingly cheap and utilizes very common materials that you likely already have stockpiled from your standard salvage runs.
Required Crafting Materials:
  • 10 Fabric
  • 3 Plastic Parts

Step 3: How to Use the White Flag In-Game
After crafting it and equipping it, the White Flag becomes a usable item in your inventory that your character can wave during a raid. On the surface, it is a straightforward social mechanic meant to signal a surrender or indicate that you are friendly and just want to go your separate ways without a firefight. When you are running low on ammo or carrying a backpack full of priceless quest items, waving this flag can genuinely save your life if you run into an equally hesitant squad.
However, because this is ARC Raiders, human nature always plays a role. The White Flag has quickly evolved into a psychological tool. While it can be used for genuine truces, many clever players use it to fake a surrender, intentionally lulling opposing raiders into a false sense of security. Once the enemy lowers their guard or steps out of cover to investigate, you can quickly swap back to your weapon and spring an immediate, devastating ambush.
Whether you intend to use it as a tool for genuine survival or as a piece of tactical deception, the White Flag is an incredibly fun and versatile item to keep in your back pocket. Head out to Riven Tides, check those lockers at the Stacking Yard, and get crafting.
