That is where the White Flag comes in. The White Flag is a highly sought-after usable item that allows you to literally wave a sign of peace (or deception) to other raiders in the middle of a match. However, you cannot just buy it or start the game with it. You have to hunt down its blueprint out in the wild, extract safely, and craft it back at your base.
