If you’ve recently hit max level in Aion 2 and feel unsure about what to do next, you’re definitely not alone. The game blends classic MMORPG systems with mobile-style progression, which means a lot of players end up confused about which content matters most, what to prioritize, and how to push their Item Level efficiently. After digging through the systems myself (and burning more Enhancement Stones than I’d like to admit), I’ve put together a practical breakdown to help you move from early endgame into the 1300–1800 power range smoothly and without wasting precious resources.
Below is a clear roadmap of everything you should tackle, why it matters, and how to approach it without falling into the usual traps.
Strengthening Your Core: Devanion Points and Skill Levels
Your biggest, fastest jump in combat power early on doesn’t come from gear upgrades. It comes from Devanion nodes and skill leveling. Many players ignore this because the sources are so spread out, but the gains are massive. Every Devanion point adds a point of combat power, and upgraded skills have noticeable impact in real fights.
The bulk of your Devanion points will come from side quests and sealed dungeons. Don’t skip these. Each side quest gives two Devanion points, which adds up quickly when you take the time to clear every zone. Sealed dungeons also reward Devanion Crystals, so make sure to finish each one at least once.
Skill Points come from collecting the 560 Trace of Apsu marks scattered across the main continent. Feeding them into the monolith grants Wisdom Stones, which you use for skill upgrades. If you don’t want to wander the entire map blind, look up a complete map—plenty of players have compiled routes already.
Daily Content That Actually Matters
Aion 2 offers the usual daily missions, but the one you should never miss is the mission tab accessed from your character screen. Think of these as the equivalent of classic daily quests. They reward Enhancement Stones and, most importantly, Oath Energy. Oath Energy controls which dungeon rewards you can claim, so maintaining a steady supply is essential for later progression.
Make this part of your routine. A five-minute task saves you hours of grind later.
Shugo Festa: Easy Mini-Games, Steady Upgrades
Shugo Festa appears every hour at :15 and :45 and offers some of the easiest stat gains in the game if you engage consistently. While the shop contains premium items like wings and minion frames, early on you’ll want to spend your Festa Tokens on Devanion Crystals instead.
One quick note: only open Festa cubes when you score high in the mini-games. Higher rankings dramatically increase the efficiency of your rewards, so don’t waste your tokens on low-rank attempts.
Expedition and Nightmare: Your First True Endgame Dungeons
Expedition dungeons are your classic MMORPG party instances, while Nightmare is more like a solo challenge tower. Both reward you with currency and materials that help strengthen your character.
In Expeditions, the one must-clear dungeon is Draupnir. Even though the drop rate for unique gear is tiny, the guaranteed reward chest gives you a piece instantly on your first clear. Just be cautious about running it too much—repeated cube openings consume Oath Energy, which becomes important later when farming higher-value content.
Nightmare, despite looking intimidating at first, is basically a series of one-on-one boss fights. Climbing the difficulty ladder earns you points you can exchange for wings, statues, or Devanion Crystals. Early on, the Crystals give the biggest power spike for the least effort.
This is also a good stage to mention the in-game economy. Players farming Nightmare often compare their gains to what they could accumulate through regular trading, especially when managing resources like Aion 2 Kinah. Understanding the value of each activity helps you avoid wasting time on content with low returns.
Transcendence: The Real Endgame Begins
When you reach around 1800 combat power, progress slows dramatically. That’s when Transcendence unlocks its full value. This system gives you access to Arcanas—equipable cards, each carrying 20+ Item Level. Eventually, a full set can boost your combat power by hundreds.
You can technically start at 1200, but it’s inefficient. Lower-tier Transcendence rewards mostly grant white Arcana, which are far weaker than green ones. If you save Oath Energy and push straight to Tier 4, the game starts dropping rare Arcana much more frequently, letting your power climb far faster.
Players who engage in Transcendence efficiently often share tips related to managing resources or comparing upgrade paths—especially for players looking for ways to buy Aion 2 Kinah coins fast when they run low on in-game currency. Even if you’re not spending anything, understanding how the economy works (and how trading communities like U4GM handle resource values) helps you plan smarter and avoid costly mistakes.
Pushing through Aion 2’s endgame can feel overwhelming at first, but once you understand the order of progression, everything becomes much smoother. Focus on Devanion and skills, keep up with your dailies, dip into Shugo Festa whenever possible, and carefully manage Oath Energy as you move through Expeditions, Abyss, and Transcendence. The game rewards players who plan ahead and pace their upgrades instead of blindly burning materials.
If you follow the steps above, reaching 2000–2200 combat power becomes much more realistic, even without perfect drops. With steady progression and a bit of luck, you’ll find yourself pushing into the higher tiers before you know it.
