The new heads offer high-speed printing and resolution up to 1200dpi for a wide range of printing applications (with an emphasis on graphics) as they are intended for use with water-based inks. These heads are intended for form printing machines.



Kyocera droplets sizeA look at the technical characteristics of the heads is impressive. The new KJ4B-EX 1200 print heads print at speeds up to 100m/min and dot sizes range from  with a dot diameter of just 21μm. At the same time, they have the new internal ink recycling system which contributes to increasing the speed by up to 25% compared to the corresponding types of heads of the company. KJ4B EX PIEZOHigh print quality is also ensured thanks to the new activation system of the piezo nozzles,  made of polycrystalline ceramic material, instead of individual actuators for each nozzle. This way the head prints uniform colors, increasing print quality. The manufacture of the new heads by Kyocera is linked to the launch of its own TasKalfa Pro 15000 digital sheetfed printer which already has installations in Europe.
