The “Gone in 360 seconds!” achievement in Helldivers 2 turns an ordinary Blitz mission into a strict race against the clock. While Helldivers 2 Super Credits may be useful for other aspects of the game, they have no role in earning this achievement. Success depends on choosing the right difficulty, avoiding unfavorable modifiers, destroying required targets quickly, and starting extraction early enough to survive the final countdown.
Start With the Correct Difficulty
The first requirement is simple but easy to overlook: select Extreme, Difficulty 6. The achievement is designed around this setting, meaning that completing a similar mission on a higher difficulty does not automatically count.
Before launching, examine the planet modifiers. Extraction time is especially important. If a modifier causes Pelican-1 to take substantially longer to arrive, the six-minute requirement can become impossible or extremely impractical.
A good attempt begins before the Hellpod even leaves orbit. Take a moment to confirm the difficulty, modifiers, mission type, and map layout.
Choose Equipment That Keeps You Moving
Speed should influence nearly every equipment decision. Light armor is generally preferable because the goal is to sprint between targets rather than absorb damage while fighting.
A Scout-oriented armor perk can help with navigation and awareness, while stamina-related options can make long runs more manageable. The exact combination is less important than maintaining momentum throughout the mission.
For boosters, Stamina Enhancement can be particularly useful. If an extraction-focused booster is available and appropriate for your setup, it can also help reduce waiting time during the final stage.
Select Destructive Stratagems
The best stratagems are those that remove structures quickly without forcing you to stop and engage enemies.
Automaton missions are particularly convenient for this style. Orbital Laser, Eagle Airstrike, and 380mm Orbital Barrage can all provide strong options for attacking fabricators from a distance. You can throw the stratagem, continue moving, and let the strike handle the target.
Terminid missions require a slightly different approach. Eagle Cluster Bombs, Grenade Launchers, and Jump Packs can help you deal with nests while maintaining mobility. Accurate grenade placement is especially important because wasting throws costs time.
Avoid Unnecessary Combat
One of the biggest mistakes is treating a Blitz mission like a normal combat operation. The objective is not to clear every patrol or defeat every enemy that notices you.
If a group spots you but is not blocking your route, keep running. If a patrol begins chasing you, create distance rather than stopping to fight. Every second spent exchanging fire is a second that could have been used to reach the next target.
This mindset becomes even more important near the end. Once the required objectives are complete, there is little reason to remain in the area. Move directly toward extraction and prepare to activate the beacon.
Coordinate Roles in Multiplayer
A squad can divide responsibilities to reduce travel time. One player can move toward the extraction zone early, while the others handle targets around the map.
The extraction player should avoid unnecessary combat and remain alive. As soon as the mission requirements are fulfilled, they can activate extraction immediately.
The other players should focus on separate target clusters instead of following one another. Effective communication is valuable here. Call out which outpost you are attacking and where you are heading next so the team does not accidentally duplicate effort.
Plan a Direct Solo Route
Solo attempts require more attention to map geometry. Look for a route that connects multiple objectives without excessive backtracking. A useful starting point can place you close to the first target while keeping extraction in a favorable direction.
Once you land, move immediately. Throw stratagems while running whenever possible, and avoid stopping to admire the destruction. If you die, the reinforcement system can sometimes place you closer to your next target, which may save travel time.
The goal is controlled aggression: destroy what is necessary, ignore what is optional, and keep moving.
Finish With a Safety Buffer
Because the timer can continue until the results screen, reaching Pelican-1 at exactly six minutes is not enough. A safer strategy is to begin extraction with plenty of room remaining.
The final portion of the mission should be almost automatic: activate extraction, defend only when necessary, board immediately, and avoid distractions. With practice, players can develop a route that becomes increasingly consistent.
The same discipline applies if you decide to cheap Helldivers 2 Super Credits for other game-related purposes; currency management and achievement execution are separate concerns. For this trophy, route planning and time management remain the real keys.
