The game isn't too long, but the emphasis on replayability is greater than usual.

Answering the question of how long b07 bot lobbies will last is as simple as saying 'not for long'. The co-op campaigns probably last around 5-6 hours. However, there is a twist at the very end which could make it last for ever. Sort of. Let me explain what this all means.

How long does mmoset BO7 last?

You won't need much longer than six hours to complete the main story. There are a lot of missions in Black Ops 7, but there isn't much substance. The usual Intel collectibles might make things longer, but realistically you should expect to finish the game in this time frame.

5-6 hours is the average play time

Playthrough in 7 hours, a semi-completionist approach

Complete completion in 10+ hours

You'll have to work hard to get those higher times, though. Once you have completed the story, you will unlock Endgame which is a game that never ends. It consists of 32-player squads, which can last for up to 50 mins. You will be chasing random objectives and leveling up your character in order to tackle increasingly difficult areas and challenges. Technically, this means that you can play Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 for as long you like.

Zombies has been refined as well, with Ashes of the Damned serving as an excellent introduction to Black Ops 7’s eccentric horde-mode (with a lot of updates planned for this mode). It's a beefed up version of Black Ops 2's Tranzit, with a huge figure-8 map, and an upgradeable vehicle called Ol' Tessie that you can drive yourself through the twisting roads of Dark Aether. This mode is incredibly immersive, thanks to its increased freedom, control and scale. But I say that as a compliment. This mode is best enjoyed with friends. There are many hilarious and frustrating situations that can occur.

Black Ops 7 is the first Call of Duty title to feature a global progress system. This means that you can earn weapon and career XP, as well as complete challenges in the co-op campaigns, Endgames, multiplayer and Zombies. This system sounds great on paper as it rewards players regardless of what they are playing, but in reality, this system leaves a bad impression.

Initially, it was nice to be able to level up weapons that I would not normally use in multiplayer. It's not for me to use the MK78 in multiplayer, but if I Rambo it in Zombies, I can still unlock its attachments. When the Warzone-style armor and zombies are incorporated into the campaign, and the guitar-shredding "unlock", "level up" and "challenge completed" stabs which I associate with multiplayer become a constant presence, everything starts to feel the same. The game seems to be afraid of losing my interest and is constantly throwing me doodads.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 has a large variety of modes and activities that are best enjoyed with friends, but not often solo. Black Ops 7 has the most bizarre campaign of any Call of Duty game. It is a game that's more about quantity than quality.

I admire the Treyarch and Raven developers, as well as the eight other Activision Studios that were involved in this project, for their unconventional approach to keeping things fresh under extreme time pressure. However, there are some design decisions that I cannot fully support. Although pushing the limits of what a Call of Duty can be is a great idea, some aspects should perhaps stick with a more conservative approach. Bigger, after all, doesn't always mean better.
