Hello everyone.
I recently noticed some persistent issues with my house’s eavestrough system, including clogging, water overflow, and sagging sections. After reading through https://www.solideavestrough.ca/top-eavetrough-problems-solutions/, I realize these are common eavestrough problems. But I’m not sure whether I should try fixing them myself or call a professional.
Has anyone here experienced similar issues? What solutions worked for you? Did you resolve blockages or leaks by adding guards, adjusting slope, or replacing components? I live in a rainy region and the runoff seems to back up often. DIY tips would be especially valuable.
Also, are there cost effective maintenance schedules that prevent deterioration long term?
